We had the life-changing experience of visiting "Grand Central Station of the Underground Railroad" in Richmond, Indiana.

While there, Visit Richmond gifted us this book, wherein abolitionist Levi Coffin chronicles his life and work. Amazing book for what it teaches about history and the human spirit.

Favorite physical activity

Go Ape Chicago

We enjoy pretty much any physical activity, but we don't get many "confidence course" type opportunities out in the Chicago suburbs.

So when we had the chance to "Go Ape," we truly did go bananas! What, no puns allowed? Okay, fine. Let's just say we loved it.

Three hours climbing through the canopy, navigating obstacles of all kinds and zip-lining at various intervals pushed our physical and mental limits. And left us sore. For days. But hoping to go back as soon as possible!
